![]() ![]() I have disabled audio in bios and then re-enabled, and still no joy. I have read several forums for information, and disable all sound effects in enhancements with in properties in audio playback devices. I then tried the same technique with the latest drivers from the Gigabyte website for my device. Firstly I checked if it was hardware, by logging into a second Boot OS (Windows 7 RC) that was still on the machine, and the sound was working fine from that installation.Ĭoming back to my current OS (Windows 7 Ultimate SP1), I sourced the motherboard driver CD, removed the driver, restarted and then installed from the M/B disk. However, my audio stopped working, and so I started trouble shooting. After uninstall, I was left with only the Realtek software and drivers. ![]() I recently had an issue with my system, and was forced to uninstall software for a no longer present Creative Audigy 2 ZS soundcard, as I had long been using the Realtek HD Audio (on-board).
